The Barrio Youth Corps is a dynamic workforce development program dedicated to hiring and empowering system-impacted youth of color, with a special focus on Indigenous youth from neighboring native communities. Through meaningful employment and mentorship, we provide pathways to skill-building, leadership, and community engagement. Our program has earned recognition at the highest levels—most notably, Former Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland visited and expressed her strong support and admiration for the work our youth are doing. Barrio Youth Corps is committed to uplifting young people, honoring cultural identity, and fostering lasting positive change.
